FAQ

A few things are good to know beforehand. Please read carefully especially our cancellation policy.

Transportation

Please notice that we ride from Monday to Friday during the evenings, and on Saturday mornings or Sunday evenings as well. The transport takes around 30 minutes from Kemi city.

If you have your own transport, you will get more time slots to ride and participate to the safaris in a more flexible schedule. Remember to look up the driving instructions before coming as the internet connection may be slow on the forest roads. Be aware of the slippery road conditions during the winter time, and remember to take your own insurances for driving / car rental / riding safaris. The company has liability insurances in the stables for horses and in the programs.

Good to know

Any food allergies or diets must be communicated when you’re booking. Even if you have already made a reservation beforehand, please confirm that your special needs have been noted if you are paying the service at the Rovaniemi Tourist information.

All prices include local VAT (10 % on the guided rides and on the guided program services).

Cancellation policy

If you cancel your paid reservation in less than 24 hours before the trip would begin we will keep the booking fee minimum 30 € per person if it is paid straight to our account. In the tourist office or in any hotel selling our trips you must ask their own cancellation policy. We are not able to return any funds if you come to the farm, and then suddenly decide not to ride or participate to the programs. If the transport is ordered or paid to the bus company or in any of our rented cars, we are not able to return the money of the bus or taxi companies at all,  in case you suddenly cancel the trip.

Please note that we are not able to make any refunds after the ride has been paid, and if the cancellation is done later than by 12.00 the day before the ride.

Driving iN Lapland by yourself?

If you plan to arrive by driving a rented car yourself, please drive slowly and carefully as there are often reindeers and moose on the road. Roads can also be very slippery on the winter time.

Please also notice that the navigator easily looses the signal on the forest road, so look for the address in the Google Maps before you are on your way.
